Animal Clinic of Casselberry in Casselberry, FL is seeking a Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians with patient care, exams, and procedures. You will monitor hospitalized patients, prepare prescriptions, and educate clients.

You will assist with surgeries, take histories, vital signs, and assist with radiographs. Weekend availability and basic computer skills are required; prior veterinary experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in medicine and surgery as needed.
• Take histories, vital signs, and weights during outpatient exams and educate clients.
• Prepare patients for surgery and monitor during procedures.
• Collect samples and perform in-house lab tests; prep specimens for outside labs.
• Take, develop, and maintain radiographs with proper safety.
• Handle and restrain animals during exams as required.
• Administer medications, anesthesia, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Restock and maintain cleanliness of exam rooms, treatment, and lab areas.
