The role requires at least 1 year of veterinary clinical experience and comfort with phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and patient handling. Weekend work and rotating on-call duties are included.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of veterinary clinical experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
- Skilled in phlebotomy and IV catheter placement.
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume practice.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients across wellness, diagnostic, and surgical procedures.
- Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgeries including intubation.
- Support client education and provide nursing care in hospital or field settings.
