Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a veterinary practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must have telephone and computer skills.
• Team player willing to learn new techniques and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, escort to exam room, record weight and vital signs, and document history in EMR.
• Assist veterinarian with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia under supervision.
• Perform patient restraint, obtain lab samples, handle medications, and maintain EMR.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, manage records, inventory, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitor anesthesia, and discharge as needed.
• Provide in-hospital treatments and administer medications.
• Train new staff and maintain a clean hospital environment.
