Job summary

The PARC Vet in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join a Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner team. The role focuses on hands-on patient care, laboratory work, anesthesia, and assisting veterinarians across a 24/7 hospital setting.

You'll work in a large, modern facility and play a key part in admissions, discharges, and client education while supporting a dedicated veterinary team. Growth and learning opportunities are emphasized through Thrive programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a veterinary technician.
• CVT/LVT/RVT encouraged to apply.
• Experience in anesthesia, surgical assisting, and post-operative care.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and observational skills.
• Comfortable with anesthetic monitoring of ASA I-III; ASA I-V experience preferred.
• Ability to prepare animals and instruments for surgery.
• Collect and test laboratory samples and perform tests.
• Familiar with digital radiography and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality care and educate clients.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures to maximize efficiency and patient flow.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records with practice systems.
• Explain health concerns and Thrive Membership options to clients.
• Ensure clean, sterile treatment areas and labs; assist in exams and treatments.
• Gather health histories from clients and document in charts.
• Mentor teammates and share knowledge as needed.
