Triangle Veterinary Referral Hospital in Durham, NC, a premier 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital, seeks an ER/ICU Lead RVT or skilled assistant to manage floor operations. The role includes task prioritization, training, and acting as liaison between staff and management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an emergency or intensive care veterinary medicine role performing the required technical skills
• Advanced drug dosage calculations including dilutions and multi-drug CRI calculations
• Proficiency in the placement of sampling or central lines, NE and NG tubes, and nasal oxygen
• Demonstrated familiarity with common emergencies, medications, and treatments
• Experience leading CPR
• Experience providing extensive nursing care for critical patients
• Proficiency in anesthetic monitoring

The Triangle's premier Emergency and Specialty Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and highly skilled ER/ICU Lead to join our team. Triangle Veterinary Referral Hospital (TVRH) provides 24-hour emergency service and specialty referrals in surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, neurology, critical care and radiology. In addition, our updated facility is outfitted with advanced medical equipment such as MRI, CT, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy and laparoscopy enabling the medical team to offer quick, high-level diagnostics, treatment and follow up care. In addition, our multiple services allow plenty of opportunities for growth.
