VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Mesa team. Location: 1648 N Country Club Dr, Mesa, AZ 85201. Schedule: Full-Time, Wednesday-Saturday 7 am - 5 pm; 4 days, 10-hour week.

Salary: $24 - $30 per hour. Join a team that delivers outstanding client experiences while caring for pets through venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, dentistry, lab work and more.

Responsibilities

• Venipuncture tasks and patient sampling conducted with care.
• Catheter placement and related patient management during procedures.
• Radiology imaging and interpretation support.
• Anesthesia monitoring and patient safety oversight.
• Physical examinations and accurate patient assessments.
• Surgical preparation and assisting during procedures.
• Dental procedures support and routine dentistry tasks.
• Laboratory work including basic diagnostics.
• Pharmacy duties and medication handling.
• Patient recovery monitoring and post-procedure care.
• Compassionate care for hospitalized patients and families.
