BluePearl Pet Hospital in Malvern, PA is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician for our busy Emergency and Critical Care department.

• Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for qualified CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT, and VTS candidates
• Schedule: Thursday - Saturday (7:00am - 7:00pm)
• Pay: $21.00 - $43.00/hour, dependent on experience and leveling system
• Competitive shift differential pay for nights and weekends (e.g., $3.50 - $5.00/hour)

Role Overview:

The Emergency Veterinary Technician role offers an exciting, fast-paced opportunity to utilize and expand your skills alongside talented veterinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia using appropriate equipment.
2. Triage emergency cases, obtain vital signs, and assess patient status.
3. Perform digital radiography with proper technique.
4. Understand normal vital sign ranges and interpret blood pressure and other vital signs.
5. Identify at-risk patients, initiate CPR, and administer medications accurately.
6. Perform phlebotomy, place IV catheters, and manage feeding tubes and central lines.
7. Mentor and train team members and address client concerns with patience and empathy.
