BluePearl Pet Hospital in Conshohocken, PA is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. You will induce, monitor and recover anesthesia, triage emergencies, and perform digital radiography with proper technique.

You will interpret vital signs, assist with CPR, venipuncture, catheter placement, and provide compassionate client communication. Competitive pay and growth opportunities through our training programs are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed/credentialed veterinary technician preferred, with anesthesia experience.
• Ability to monitor and recover anesthesia and triage emergencies.
• Strong venipuncture, IV access, radiography, and vital signs interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia and operate monitoring equipment.
• Triage emergency cases and record vitals like temp, HR, RR, BP.
• Perform digital radiography with correct patient positioning.
• Interpret vital signs and alert the Veterinarian to changes.
• Identify at-risk patients and initiate CPR when needed.
• Calculate meds and administer via proper routes and durations.
• Perform phlebotomy and place IV catheters in peripheral vessels.
• Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.
• Mentor and train coworkers; address client concerns with empathy.
