Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Conshohocken, PA is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. We offer salary of $22.15-$44.00 per hour, with a Sunday shift 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and additional shift differentials for nights and weekends. VTS credentialing may lead to compensation commensurate with experience.

You will induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia, triage emergencies, perform radiography, monitor vitals, and support patients and clients with empathy.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician (or eligible)
• VTS credentialing eligible; compensation commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients and use anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
• Triage emergency cases and obtain vital signs.
• Perform digital radiography with proper positioning.
• Interpret vital signs and alert Veterinarian to significant changes.
• Identify at-risk patients and initiate CPR when needed.
• Perform phlebotomy and place IV catheters.
• Place feeding tubes and central line catheters.
• Mentor and train co-workers.
• Address client concerns with patience and empathy.
