Job summary

Wilkinson Veterinary Clinic, serving South Texas for over 30 years, seeks an experienced veterinary professional for a busy mixed-animal practice. You will assist in exams, diagnostics, imaging, and surgical support across dogs, cats, horses, and more in a four-doctor, 30+ staff environment.

Qualifications

• High work ethic and positive attitude.
• Punctual and ready to work.
• 1+ year of experience preferred; CVT/RVT/LVT a bonus.
• Weekend availability.
• Excellent communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Restrain animals in a low-stress, safe manner.
• Triage incoming patients and collect and analyze lab samples.
• Assist with diagnostic imaging and radiographs; prepare for procedures.
• Provide nursing care and manage hospitalized cases; administer medications.
• Communicate treatment plans effectively with clients; assist in surgeries and anesthesia.
