Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and assist in appointments with doctors.
• Take history from client and record observations in medical records.
• Educate clients on preventative healthcare and provide follow-up.
• Communicate patient or client concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Perform venipuncture and in-house lab tests; prepare forms for outside labs.
• Provide nursing care and monitor hospitalized patients.
• Admit and discharge patients following protocols; educate on procedures.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and hospital safety standards.
• Perform diagnostic imaging as requested by veterinarian.
• Assist in anesthesia induction, maintenance, and post-op care.
• Assist in lab work and routine procedures as deemed appropriate by practice.
