Qualifications

• Experience with venipuncture, in-house lab tests, and coordinating with outside laboratories.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and hospital safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and assist doctors during appointments.
• Take client histories, perform physical assessments, and record observations in medical records.
• Educate clients on preventative care and provide follow-up guidance.
• Perform diagnostic imaging as requested by the veterinarian.
• Place IV catheters, manage fluids, and assist in anesthesia and surgical procedures.
• Care for hospitalized patients, monitor medications, and discharge with instructions.
