Description

Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists is looking for afull-timeVeterinary Technician to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Tucson, AZ.

About You

You’ll play an important role in improving pets' quality of life through advanced dental and oral healthcare. Your impactful work will range from providing skilled patient care, anesthesia monitoring, and assisting with dental and surgical procedures, to supporting the client journey through patient admissions, treatment coordination, and discharge education.

Your Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) strongly preferred
  • Superior/advanced technical skills
  • Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
  • Possesses a positive work attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
