BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Critical Care Veterinary Technician!

Preferred applicants will have: extensive anesthesia knowledge, patient care, medication, and disease management experience.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.50 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and depends on experience and advancement through our leveling system.

Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience.

Schedule: 8am-8pm; must be available on weekends and holidays.

We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you enjoy patient care and working in a challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment, apply today! This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

As an ICU/Critical Care Technician, you will:

1. Triage and obtain patient history.
2. Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
3. Place IVCs and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines, or PICC lines.
4. Monitor and care for ventilator cases.
5. Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants to provide advanced medical care.
6. Mentor and train other team members.
7. Feel gratification in nursing critically ill patients back to health and reuniting them with their pet parents.
