BluePearl Pet Hospital in Monterey, CA is hiring a Critical Care Veterinary Technician to join our ICU team. This full-time role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays, and offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment with advanced medicine for hospitalized pets.

As an ICU/CC Vet Tech you will triage, monitor ventilator cases, place central lines, and mentor teammates while providing compassionate care to pets and peace of mind to their parents.

Qualifications

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers

Pay: $24 - $44 / hour

Pay is dependent on experience and evaluated on the CareerTrax leveling system.
