Qualifications

• 1+ years of veterinary technician experience required.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology, anesthesia, laboratory procedures, radiology, and patient nursing care preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care, including histories, vital signs, restraint, and monitoring.
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccines, IV fluids, and other care as directed.
• Collect lab samples, perform tests, and record results.
• Place and maintain IV catheters and support nursing care.
• Assist with dental procedures, radiographs, cleanings, and charting.
• Prepare patients and surgical instruments for procedures.
• Assist with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Educate clients on medications, preventive care, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection-control in exam rooms and surgical suites.
