Job summary

Veritas Veterinary Partners is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Cardiology department in Woodbridge, NJ. You will support doctors with critical care, diagnostics, anesthesia support, and patient monitoring in a busy specialty hospital environment.

CVT/LVT preferred or minimum 2 years of technician experience; strong teamwork, communication, and accuracy are essential. We offer sign-on bonuses, DailyPay access, comprehensive insurance, 401(k) and generous CE support.

Qualifications

• CVT/LVT preferred or minimum 2 years technician experience.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• Comfort with anesthesia, sedation and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Patient restraint, administering medications, IV catheter placement, and phlebotomy.
• Assisting with echocardiograms and procedures.
• Obtaining ECGs and non-invasive measurements.
• Documenting history and updates in medical records.
• Set up CRIs and calculate medical math.
• Assist in anesthetic and sedated procedures including interventional radiology.
• Maintain accurate treatment sheets and prepare blood samples.
