Veritas Veterinary Partners is actively seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician for our Garden State Veterinary Services Woodbridge facility. The role involves hands-on patient care in a busy emergency and specialty hospital, with overnight shifts in the schedule.

Qualified candidates may hold CVT/LVT certification or have at least two years of technician experience, and should be team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• CVT/LVT certification or minimum 2 years of technician experience.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Setting up CRIs and performing medical calculations.
• Placing IV catheters and managing fluid therapy.
• Monitoring hospitalized patients and providing compassionate care.
• Collecting diagnostic samples and maintaining records.
• Radiology positioning and safety.
• Preparing blood/plasma transfusions.
