Position Summary

The Tschabrunn Lab in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join a dynamic research environment. The lab focuses on large animal models to study cardiovascular therapies, cardiac arrhythmias, and imaging modalities. The technician will collaborate with the PI and lab members to develop techniques, generate data, maintain operations, and pursue independent research projects.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and organize research lab activities; assist during large animal electrophysiology experiments; collect specimens; process tissues; analyze data.
  • Assist with documentation, inventory management, supply procurement, and regulatory compliance (IACUC, ERHS).
  • Analyze data, prepare reports and presentations, and participate in meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate of Science degree with 3-5 years of experience or equivalent; strong organizational, communication, and independent working skills.
  • Previous experience working with large animals in clinical or research settings is required.

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Department: Perelman School of Medicine

Pay Range: $22.36 - $31.65 hourly, commensurate with experience
