Job summary

Portland-Veterinary-Emergency-and-Specialty-Car is seeking a Neurology Assistant for a full-time role. You will work with Veterinary Technicians and Board-Certified Neurologists to provide advanced care for patients with complex neurological conditions.

• Experienced Veterinary Assistants with a focus on neurological care.
• Specialty or neurology experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with neurological exams and procedures.
• Support MRI, CT, radiology, neurosurgery, and advanced diagnostics.
• Monitor anesthesia and administer treatments as directed.
• Educate and support clients throughout their pet's care journey.
• Maintain detailed medical records.
• Collaborate with specialists across multiple departments.

You'll:

• Assist with neurological exams and procedures
• Support MRI, CT, radiology, neurosurgery, and advanced diagnostics
• Monitor anesthesia and administer treatments
• Educate and support clients throughout their pet's care journey
• Maintain detailed medical records
• Collaborate with specialists across multiple departments
• Deliver exceptional patient care with skill, empathy, and attention to detail

What We're Looking For

• Experienced Veterinary Assistants
• Specialty or neurology experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
• Experience with EzyVet or SmartFlow is a plus
