Carevet of Honor Heights in Muskogee, OK is seeking a Veterinary Technician/Assistant to support patient care and hospital operations. The role involves charting medical histories, monitoring vital signs, admitting/discharging patients, and assisting veterinarians during procedures.

• Takes, processes and logs prescription refills in-house, call out pharmacy and online pharmacy.
• Monitoring hospital patients and logging vital signs.
• Administering medications to patients as needed.
• Placing catheters and performing blood draws.
• Restraining and assisting the doctor during exams, treatments, and anesthesia procedures.

Education

High school diploma or GED; and 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Registered Veterinary Technicians in Oklahoma preferred

Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
