Job summary

Animal Medical Center of Skokie is hiring a Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative, compassionate team. This full-time role offers a 4-day work week with no nights, weekends, or holiday hours and a negotiable salary based on experience.

In this position you will safely handle patients, assist veterinarians in exams, surgeries and dentistry, monitor anesthesia, collect samples, educate clients, and maintain medical records.

Qualifications

• Safely handle and restrain patients during examinations and procedures.
• Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and weights during outpatient appointments.
• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, surgeries, and dentistry.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
• Educate clients regarding medications, preventive care.

Responsibilities
