New England Veterinary Clinic & Pet Resort is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our busy hospital. You will work closely with veterinarians and technicians to support patient care, take vitals, assist during exams, and help maintain a clean, organized clinical area.

We offer four-day workweeks with rotating Sunday shifts, competitive hourly pay ($18–$21), generous benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching and tuition support, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary assisting or animal care experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and procedures.
• Support patient intake by gathering medical histories and vital signs.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments.
• Safely and compassionately handle and restrain animals of different sizes and temperaments.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by a veterinarian.
• Maintain clean, organized clinical spaces and assist with clerical tasks.
