Job summary

Bradford Hills Veterinary Hospital, Pet Hotel and Grooming Salon is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our four-doctor practice in Wexford, PA. We offer a 3- or 4-day workweek with rotating Saturdays and no holiday shifts, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

You’ll provide nursing care, assist veterinarians, perform venipuncture, radiographs, anesthesia support, and client education in a collaborative, growth‑minded team environment.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred; experienced candidates encouraged
• Confident with safe and compassionate patient handling and restraint
• Experience with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, phlebotomy and sample collection
• Experience obtaining diagnostic radiographs
• Familiarity with IDEXX in-house laboratory equipment
• Strong client communication and education skills

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care from intake through discharge
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Obtain patient histories and document vital signs and medical information
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, phlebotomy and sample collection
• Assist with IDEXX laboratory procedures and equipment
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
• Educate clients about care, medications, and preventive health
