Are you a passionate and skilled Veterinary Assistant looking for a dynamic and supportive team?District Veterinary Hospital – Brookland is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our vibrant, close-knit team. We pride ourselves on creating a positive, collaborative work environment where our staff feels empowered, supported, and valued.
Schedule: 4-day workweek
Three 10-hour weekday shifts
Every other Saturday
Compensation: $22–$27/hour (based on experience)

Experience: 1–2 years in a veterinary hospital setting preferred
Skills Required:
Proficiency in venipuncture, restraint, and triage
Knowledge of vaccination protocols and medical terminology
Experience with VetFM software and Abaxis lab equipment a plus
Personality Fit:
Outgoing, energetic, and collaborative
Strong-willed and ready to jump in where needed
Thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment

Full-time team members will be awarded additional PTO based on their years of service.
Holiday Pay 48 hours to apply towards 6 recognized holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day)
*The holiday PTO hours can be used at the team member’s discretion to cover the actual holiday as observed by the hospital or other absences with approval from their Manager.
