Job summary

VCA Woodford Animal Hospital in Versailles, KY is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited practice. You will work closely with veterinarians to support a variety of medical procedures and guide clients through their pet's care with confidence and compassion.

The role emphasizes surgical assistance, dental cleanings, radiographs, and patient care in a collaborative, team-focused environment. Full-time with rotating Saturdays offers strong growth and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• CVT/LVT/RVT or VTNE eligibility required or pending.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery.
• Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments.
• Collect samples and run in-house diagnostics.
• Place catheters and support patient treatments.
• Educate clients on care plans, medications, and follow-up.

Schedule: Full-time opportunity with rotating Saturdays.

Compensation: The starting range is $ 20 -24/hr and is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.

The Role

As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care. You'll work closely with our veterinarians to support a variety of medical procedures while helping guide clients through their pet's care with confidence and compassion.

What You'll Do
