Job summary

River Road Pet Clinic in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician to support anesthesia, dentistry, soft tissue surgeries, and critical patient monitoring. You will work alongside an experienced veterinarian to deliver top‑level care and advocate for every patient.

In this role you’ll place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, run labs, educate clients, and help shape the hospital’s growth. A collaborative, growth‑oriented team environment awaits.

Responsibilities

  • Lead anesthesia monitoring from induction through recovery, ensuring patient safety at every step.
  • Prepare and recover surgical and dental patients.
  • Assist with routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry.
  • Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture with confidence.
  • Perform laboratory diagnostics and patient treatments.
  • Educate clients with compassion and confidence.
  • Collaborate closely with the veterinarian to deliver exceptional medical care.
  • Advocate for every patient as if they were your own.
