Job summary

Germantown Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our experienced team. This full-time role offers a stable schedule: Mon, Wed, and Fri from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Tue and Thu from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with compensation based on experience.

You will perform laboratory testing, assist doctors during exams and surgeries, monitor anesthesia, and educate clients on preventive care. We value teamwork, ongoing learning, and delivering high-quality patient care every day.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of veterinary technician experience.
  • Experience with anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, and post-operative care.
  • Strong technical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to thrive as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory testing, radiographs, and administer treatments.
  • Assist doctors during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures.
  • Monitor anesthesia and support patients through the pre-operative, operative, and post-operative process.
  • Prepare surgical patients and maintain sterile technique.
  • Educate clients on preventative care, treatment plans, and patient wellness.

  • Schedule: Business hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
