Job summary

Animal Doctors of South Tampa is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join a busy walk-in hospital in the Tampa Bay area. You will load rooms, obtain histories, perform blood draws, run in-house labs, and assist with surgery, while delivering client education and high-quality care.

The ideal candidate is team-oriented, calm under pressure, and committed to ongoing learning in a supportive environment. Sign-on bonus of $500 applies, with compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary technician experience required.
• Comfortable loading rooms and obtaining patient histories.
• Experience with blood draws and in-house laboratory work.
• Comfortable assisting with surgery and recovery.
• Must be able to work a rotating Saturday schedule.

Responsibilities

We are a busy walk-in veterinary hospital serving the Tampa Bay area, providing wellness and vaccination care, urgent and critical care, dentistry, and surgery.The ideal candidate is comfortable loading rooms, obtaining patient histories, drawing blood, running in-house laboratory work, and assisting with surgery.
