Job summary

Mass-RI Veterinary ER is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician for overnight ER shifts in Massachusetts. You will manage triage, support critical patients, and assist veterinarians during emergencies, with a focus on patient comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates are comfortable with restraint, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, basic medical math, and anesthesia induction and recovery. CPR experience is a plus, and opportunities for growth and training are available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Veterinary Technician in an ER setting desirable.
• CPR experience is a plus.
• Comfort with restraint and triage in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and emergency care for critical patients.
• Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia induction and recovery and manage post-op patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate with team and owners as needed.
