Job summary

Greywolf Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join a surgery-focused team in a collaborative, family-like environment. You’ll lead anesthesia, patient prep, and perioperative care while supporting diagnostics and routine nursing tasks.

The role offers full-time hours on-site with 4/10-hour shifts, rotating Saturdays, and benefits including health insurance, mental health options, a 401(k), PTO, and staff discounts for pets.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) required.
  • Strong anesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing skills.
  • Comfortable independently inducing and intubating patients.
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding patient care and client service.

Responsibilities

  • Run surgery days, including patient prep, workflow, and surgical scheduling.
  • Induce, intubate, monitor anesthesia, and support patient recovery.
  • Prepare and administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
  • Support surgery 2–3 days per week.
  • Assist with diagnostics, appointments, and advanced nursing care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.
  • Work closely with doctors and fellow technicians to keep the day running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
