Job summary

VCA Schaumburg Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team in Schaumburg, IL. This full-time role features a 5 x 8 schedule with rotating Saturdays and offers opportunities to care for patients across wellness, dentistry, surgery, laser therapy, and diagnostic services.

Qualified CVT/LVT/RVT or VTNE-eligible technicians with strong clinical skills and excellent communication are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE.
• Strong clinical skills with a desire to continue learning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care and patient monitoring.
• Assist with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Support surgical and anesthetic procedures as needed.
• Dentals and dental radiographs.
• Educate and communicate effectively with clients.
• Maintain accurate medical records.

Schedule: Full- time opportunity, 5 x 8 hours, with rotating Saturdays.

Compensation: $21 - 26/hr and the starting range is determined by skill set and license.
