Job summary

VCA Heritage Animal Hospital in Savoy, IL is hiring a full-time Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a 5-doctor team focused on providing high-quality veterinary care including preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics and client education.

As a CVT/LVT/RVT or VTNE-eligible technician, you will assist with surgical procedures including anesthesia monitoring, dental cleanings and radiographs, administer medications and vaccines, collect samples, place catheters, and educate

Full-time Veterinary Technician at VCA Heritage Animal Hospital

About Our Hospital At VCA Heritage Animal Hospital youll join a 5-doctor team that focuses on providing high-quality veterinary care including preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and client education.

The Role

As a Credentialed Veterinary Technician, youll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care. Youll work closely with our veterinarians to support a variety of medical procedures while helping guide clients through their pet’s care with confidence and compassion.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery
  • Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
  • Collect samples and run in-house diagnostics
  • Place catheters and support patient treatments
  • Educate clients on care plans, medications, and follow-up
What We’re Looking For
  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE

Schedule and Compensation

Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4 x 10-hour shifts Compensation: $ 21 - 23/hr and pay is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials.
