About VCA Mill Run Animal Hospital

We are a multi-doctor veterinary practice offering comprehensive medical and surgical services, including preventive care, dentistry, diagnostics, and urgent care. Our hospital provides a supportive, team-driven environment where veterinary technicians can expand their skills through diverse caseloads, modern equipment, and a strong focus on collaboration and compassionate care.

The Role

As a veterinary technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care. You’ll work closely with our veterinarians to support a variety of medical procedures while helping guide clients through their pet’s care with confidence and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery
• Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
• Collect samples and run in-house diagnostics
• Place catheters and support patient treatments
• Educate clients on care plans, medications, and follow-up

Schedule

Full-time opportunity. Our hospital is open seven days a week.

Compensation

$21 - 26/hr; starting range determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.
