BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician for our ER Department. This full-time role offers swing and night shifts, providing an exciting opportunity to utilize and expand your skills alongside talented veterinary professionals.

Responsibilities include:

• Inducing, monitoring, and recovering anesthesia, and operating anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
• Triaging emergency cases, obtaining vital signs such as temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.
• Performing digital radiography with proper technique and patient positioning.
• Understanding normal ranges for vital signs and interpreting blood pressure and other vital data.
• Identifying at-risk patients, initiating CPR, and administering medications accurately.
• Performing phlebotomy, placing IV catheters, and maintaining feeding tubes and central lines.
• Mentoring and training team members, and addressing client concerns with patience and empathy.
