Qualifications

  • Experience as a veterinary technician or clinical training in a veterinary setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, diagnostics and procedures.
  • Safely handle and restrain patients as trained.

  • Prepare diagnostic samples and assist with lab work and imaging as needed.
  • Support surgical prep, monitoring, and post-operative recovery.

  • Support veterinarians in providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
  • Assist with examinations, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures
  • Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
  • Obtain patient histories and collect vital information for the medical team
  • Collect and prepare diagnostic samples within your training and skill level
  • Assist with laboratory procedures and diagnostic imaging
  • Administer medications and treatments under veterinarian direction
  • Support surgical preparation, patient monitoring, and recovery as appropriate to your training and responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records
