Note: Friday–Saturday– Sundays off to help manage the demanding clinic schedule.

The Veterinary Technician/Assistant to fulfill this job will contribute to the enhancement of the human-animal bond, by providing friendly, informative and professional communication, along with skilled assistance during all office, laboratory, radiological, and surgical procedures. Fear Free techniques, knowledge of animal nursing, radiographic safety, surgical assisting, blood drawing and common laboratory tests complement excellent client telephone, electronic, and in person communication skills in the successful candidate. We emphasize teamwork, cross training, and a positive work environment, taking Friday-Saturday-Sundays off to permit a break from the physical & emotional demands of a busy vet clinic. Our practice focuses on dogs & cats, pocket pets, rabbits, and birds (exotic/domestic): performing preventative, medical, surgical, dental, behavioral, laboratory, radiographic & ultrasonographical procedures with excellence.

We proudly boast a progressive, automated practice and a superior idyllic location. Just 1/2 hour from the exciting city of Pittsburgh...all while the same distance in the opposite direction, the incredibly beautiful and serene mountain nature escape of the Laurel Highlands.
