Washington County Veterinary Hospital in Wakefield, Rhode Island, is seeking a full-time veterinary technician to join our modern facility and compassionate team.

The ideal candidate can handle and restrain animals, assist in surgery and recovery, place IV catheters, draw blood, run bloodwork, and operate X-ray and lab equipment. A positive, team-focused attitude is essential to care for pets and educate their owners.

We are looking to add a full-time experienced veterinary technician to join our amazing team full of daily sunshine!

The ideal candidate must be comfortable properly handling and restraining animals, rooming patients, assisting in surgery, surgical recovery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, have experience with x-ray and proper positioning, using laboratory equipment, and being a positive and supportive team player.

• Salary: Up to $30.00 hourly based upon experience.
• Sign-n Bonus: Eligibility for a sign-on bonus up to $3500.00 based on experience and surgical/anesthesia experience.
