We are seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team across three locations:

• Avondale: 10865 West Indian School Road, Avondale, AZ 85392
• Central: 6107 North 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85014
• Paradise Valley: 3719 East Bell Road, Phoenix, AZ 85032

We value technicians who are eager to utilize their skills and knowledge as part of a fantastic team. About us: ArkVets is a full-service practice with general and urgent care, equipped with advanced tools such as digital radiography, in-house labs, endoscopy, cold laser therapy, and CT. We aim to provide a supportive environment with staffing ratios of 3-4 techs per doctor, focusing on excellent patient care.

Our technicians work a 3 x 12 shift pattern with a two-week rotation to ensure adequate rest. Responsibilities include history taking, medication administration, dentistry, anesthesia, surgical assistance, recovery, and client communication. Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing client education and addressing concerns
• Engaging in client interactions and triage
• Mentoring team members
• Assisting with surgeries and medical procedures
• Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to emergencies
• Operating medical equipment and managing hospital inventory

Requirements:

• Veterinary medical background, recent CVT graduate or equivalent
• Experience with practice management and medical equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and flexibly, including weekends and holidays
