Veterinary Associates of North Branford is looking to add a compassionate and skilled part‑time Veterinary Technician to our team. Veterinary Technician

Veterinary Associates of North Branford, North Branford, CT

Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour, based on experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones
• Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas
• Perform physical assessments and record observations
• Keep animals calm during procedures (including calm tactics)
• Prepare estimates and discuss financial commitments with clients
• Explain necessary follow‑up and home‑care instructions
• Stock clinic treatment areas and inform inventory manager when supplies are needed
• Assist the Veterinarian in medical, surgical, and dental procedures (blood draws, anesthesia, monitoring, fluids)
• Care for surgical materials and maintain operating room readiness
