Job description

Saint Francis Veterinary Center of South Jersey (Woolwich) is looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our general practice and surgery team!

Schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts, 8 am - 8 pm

The ideal candidate:

• License preferred (LVT/RVT) but not required
• Prior surgical experience required
• Superior customer service skills
• Experience in general practice veterinary medicine
• Works well on a team
• Strong communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitoring critical and post-operative patients
• Effective communication with staff and clients, demonstrating tact, patience, professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
• Ability to place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and intubate dogs and cats reliably
• Perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, and related tasks accurately
