Sequist Animal Hospital in Morristown, VT is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team. We offer a four-day work week with no weekends or late shifts, prioritizing work-life balance. The role includes assisting veterinarians, administering meds and vaccinations, lab work, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, phlebotomy, and client education.

Competitive pay with a sign-on bonus for surgical experience. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• Assisting Veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
• Safe and fear free animal restraint/handling.
• Running lab diagnostics.
• Radiology techniques (including dental).
• Phlebotomy skills / catheter placement.
• Appropriate sterilization of hospital and equipment.
• Provide education for clients through effective communication.
• Anesthesia monitoring including pre and post op.
• Machine maintenance.
• Appropriate record keeping.

Pay Range: rate is based off from experience and certifications but can range from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. This can vary depending on experience. SIGN ON BONUS FOR SURGICAL EXPERIENCE OF $1000.00.
