AmeriVet's Sequist Animal Hospital in Morristown, VT is hiring a Veterinary Technician. The position is full-time with a four-day work week per team structure and hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

The role includes exam support, surgical assistance, meds, vaccination administration, lab work, radiology, and anesthesia monitoring. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of medical terminology, animal handling, client communication, and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgeries.
• Understand medical terminology and hospital products.
• Provide safe, fear-free animal handling and restraint.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
• Run lab diagnostics and perform radiology techniques.
• Monitor anesthesia pre- and post-op and ensure proper record keeping.
