Job summary

VCA Olympiad Animal Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician or an experienced Veterinary Assistant. The role offers Monday–Friday scheduling with rotating Saturdays and pay of $23–$26 per hour, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is preferred.
• Willingness to work Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays.
• Ability to perform a range of clinical tasks with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Assist in surgical preparation and procedures.
• Provide dentistry, radiology, and laboratory tasks.
• Handle venipuncture, catheter placement and pharmacy duties.
• Support patient recovery and communicate with clients.
• Deliver compassionate care to hospitalized animals.

Salary: $ 23 - $ 26 / hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, with rotating Saturdays
