VCA Santa Margarita Animal Hospital in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA is seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our full-time team. Our three-doctor practice offers wellness and sick visits, general surgery and dentistry, in‑house laboratory and radiology, and reference laboratory services.

Compensation ranges from $25 to $29 per hour with a schedule that includes five days a week and at least one weekend day.

Qualifications

• Licensed RVT with current credentials.
• Experience in a veterinary clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Anesthesia induction and monitoring.
• Surgery prep and assisting.
• Dental scaling, cleaning, polishing & radiographs.
• Patient recovery.
• Venipuncture and IV catheterization.
• Administering medications & subcutaneous fluids.
• Client communication.

Our primary care practice is in the heart of the beautiful city of Rancho Santa Margarita. As a three-doctor hospital, we offer wellness and sick visits, general surgery and dentistry, in‑house laboratory and radiology, and reference laboratory services.

COMPENSATION : $ 25 - $ 29 / hour

SCHEDULE : Full-Time, Five days a week including 1 weekend day a week

LOCATION: 30052 Santa Margarita Pkwy, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688

• Anesthesia Induction and Monitoring

• Subcutaneous, Intramuscular, and Intravenous injections
• Administering Medications & Subcutaneous Fluids
• Venipuncture and IV Catheterization
• Technician Appointments
• Filling Prescriptions
• Diagnostic Radiographs
• Monitoring Hospitalized Patients
• Client Communication
