Responsibilities include:

• Effective communication with clients & team
• Client education
• Safe handling & restraint of animals
• Obtaining vitals & medical history
• Venipuncture, placing intravenous catheters
• Administering medications (PO, SQ, IM, IV)
• Monitoring anesthesia and assisting in surgery
• Laboratory testing & radiography

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a veterinary setting
• Completion of an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology program
• Current Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license
