Job summary

AAVMP in Loveland, Colorado is seeking a motivated veterinary technician to join our busy two-doctor practice. The ideal candidate has an Associate of Applied Science and is a CVT or pursuing the CVT designation.

You will draw blood, monitor anesthesia, assist veterinarians, perform dental prophylaxis, enter charges, and communicate clearly with clients and staff. We offer a family-feel, low turnover, flexible schedule, and no weekend work to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required or equivalent
• CVT designation preferred or in progress
• Minimum two years in veterinary technician role

• Strong math skills and ability to communicate with clients and colleagues

Busy 2-doctor practice looking for a highly motivated individual who can multitask and is friendly with clients and colleagues. Qualified applicants should have an Associate of Applied Science degree and either be a CVT or be working on obtaining a CVT designation. Applicant should be proficient in drawing blood, monitoring anesthesia, assisting veterinarians in the rooms, be able to perform dental prophylaxis, input charges into the computer, have stellar math skills, and be able to communicate pertinent information to clients and colleagues. We are a privately owned practice with a family feel and a low turnover rate. We stress a work-life balance; we ask you to work hard while you are here and not when you are not.
