Job summary

Colorado Psychiatric is seeking a motivated veterinary technician to join a busy two-doctor practice. The ideal candidate will multitask, be friendly with clients and colleagues, and have an AAS in veterinary technology with CVT status or progress toward it.

Responsibilities include blood draws, anesthesia monitoring, assisting veterinarians, dental prophylaxis, and accurate data entry. Strong math and communication with clients are essential in our low-turnover, family-feel clinic.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in veterinary technology.
• CVT designation or working toward CVT status.

Busy 2-doctor practice looking for a highly motivated individual who can multitask and is friendly with clients and colleagues. Qualified applicants should have an Associate of Applied Science degree and either be a CVT or be working on obtaining a CVT designation. Applicant should be proficient in drawing blood, monitoring anesthesia, assisting veterinarians in the rooms, be able to perform dental prophylaxis, input charges into the computer, have stellar math skills, and be able to communicate pertinent information to clients and colleagues. We are a privately owned practice with a family feel and a low turnover rate. We stress a work-life balance; we ask you to work hard while you are here and not when you are not. This is emphasized by the fact that we are not open on the weekends!
