Job Overview

Carriage Animal Hospital in Lombard, IL is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join a fast‑paced small animal veterinary hospital. The role supports patient care, client service, surgery assistance, and nursing care for hospitalized patients.

Responsibilities

• Executing patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Performing phlebotomy and catheter placement.
• Ensuring radiology safety and proper technique.
• Monitoring anesthesia.
• Providing perioperative surgical nursing skills.
• Performing routine dental prophylaxis.
• Conducting basic laboratory procedures.

Qualifications

• CVT or experienced veterinary technician with a dedication to outstanding client service and excellent patient care.
• Clinical skills and experience in the areas listed above.

Schedule

Full‑time or part‑time positions available with rotating weekends or flexible scheduling. Working days: Monday‑Friday, 8 am–6 pm; Saturday 8 am–2 pm.

Compensation

Base hourly range: $15‑$25. Pay determined by role, level, location, and experience.
