Experienced Veterinary Technician

Who we are

Our clinics provide a warm, welcoming environment with the backing of a large network. Our ideal candidate is passionate about animal care, detail-oriented, and motivated. Veterinary Technicians work closely with Veterinarians during procedures. This full-time role involves 30-40 hours weekly, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support veterinarians to deliver quality care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures per state regulations for credentialed technicians.
• Monitor and assess patient status.
• Collect blood and other samples for testing.
• Place catheters.
• Communicate with clients about health concerns and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate medical records and history.
• Use safe restraining techniques and uphold cleanliness and organization.
• Mentor and support team members.

Experience & Skills Requirements:

• Prior experience is REQUIRED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities throughout the day.

Compensation ranges from $24-$25/hr, based on experience and location.
